Surface Design References when looking at these photos I mostly looked at the ones on the far left, what I took from this was that I wanted to create a fabric type looking pattern, ones your normally see on bedsheets, etc but instead of doing a normal flower or circles I wanted to try and encorapte a star type of pattern. process when coming up with ideas I first went into procreate and jotted any ideas that come to mind while also thinking of a colour pallet in mind, with my ideas planted out I drew a quick sketch of what came out of them. I took quite a few of these ideas from the references above for example the star came from the far bottom left picture that has the art on a building. while working on this I forgot to take some process picture until the end but this is what I came up with. from these photos my design had a few changes thanks to peer feedback. originally I had no idea what to do in between the flames, leave it empty, or put something there? a few comments sugg...
Marker Progress II After dividing parts and taking measurements I started working on the actual marker in rhino. As seen in the picture their aren't many parts you can take out but there are tiny pieces that can be seen. as seen from above I first started working on the caps of the marker and the main portion itself, as well as the other components of the lid. These were mainly the easy part of the marker, as it consisted of rectangles using rounded curves and extrude. This is what it looks like when put together, I am currently working on the tips of the actual marker, but I can't for the life of me seem to figure it out, I been using the new tools we learnt last week such as Taper, but I want to make it more skinnier then it actual looks, I'm trying to see if theres a way to do that wit...
